Description
This Rainforest Microlot is our most prized coffee. Not only is it deliciously fruity with a very pleasant bright acidity, but there's a wonderful story behind it. This coffee is extremely special to us because the owner volunteered on this farm. For 3 months, his daily life consisted of washing, sorting, and milling coffee. The experience taught him so much about the production of specialty grade coffee and also shaped the way he views the industry. After his time in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, & Guatemala, a shift occurred where the industry became less about the cup and more about the people. Coffee became a vessel to help people in coffee growing regions. Observing first hand how specialty coffee positively impacts these communities, it was clear that this was to be our mission. To develop direct relations with producing partners in coffee growing regions to ensure fair pricing and transparency.
